Every price on this page is the amount your card would be charged — the signup code reads the same figures and will not open a subscription if the two ever drift apart. The three paid tiers open the same drafting tools; what changes between them is the monthly ceiling on brief drafts. That is stated on each card rather than buried.
Firm is a working, chargeable plan — the card goes through at $299/mo. What it is not is a firm-grade feature set. These were once listed under it and are not implemented, so paying more does not turn them on: SSO and SAML, an admin dashboard, seat management, custom AI training on your forms, custom matter templates, a dedicated onboarding call, phone support, and a signed data processing agreement.
Against Small Firm at $129, Firm buys you nothing extra in the software right now. If you want those capabilities, say so at hello@bizbottech.com before you pay for a tier named after them.
Twelve months for ten months' money. Check the subtraction yourself.
| Tier | 12 × monthly | Annual | Difference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solo | $588 | $490 | $98 |
| Small Firm | $1,548 | $1,290 | $258 |
| Firm | $3,588 | $2,990 | $598 |
Steve runs BizBot and does onboarding himself. There is no support tier to escalate through, because there is nobody to escalate to.
CoCounsel and Harvey are research platforms for firms with a research budget. CaseFile is a drafting desk for the attorney who is also the paralegal and the receptionist. The row that matters most on this table is the last one.

Pricing sources: Casetext CoCounsel — Thomson Reuters product page, April 2026 (per attorney/month billed annually). Harvey AI — enterprise pricing only, no public rate card. Feature comparisons based on publicly available product documentation. Competitor adoption figures are their own published order-of-magnitude claims, not our measurement. Ours is zero and that is not an order of magnitude, it is the number.
Several of these were sold on this page as plan features. They were not built. Better you read it here than find out in month two.
All three unlock the same drafting tools. The one difference written into the code today is the monthly ceiling on IRAC brief drafts: Solo stops at 10 a month, Small Firm and Firm are not capped. Firm adds nothing over Small Firm right now — SSO and SAML, seat management, an admin dashboard, custom AI training on your forms, custom matter templates, a dedicated onboarding call, phone support and a signed data processing agreement are none of them built. If those are the reason you would pick Firm, pick Small Firm instead and email us what you need.
Annual is charged upfront and costs ten months' money for twelve months. Solo is $490 against $588 for twelve monthly payments — a difference of $98. Small Firm is $1,290 against $1,548, a difference of $258. Firm is $2,990 against $3,588, a difference of $598. That is subtraction on the prices above the fold and nothing else.
Checkout opens a 14-day trial and takes the card up front; the first charge lands on day 15 unless you cancel before it. The amount charged is the amount on the card above — the signup handler reads the same figure this page prints and stops instead of creating the subscription if the two ever disagree, so it cannot quietly bill you a number you did not read. The free plan takes no card at all.
An email address gets you a client list of up to 25 records — name, phone, email, status, notes — that persists rather than resetting. It does not include the AI drafting tools, outbound messaging or exports, and that boundary is enforced server-side rather than described in copy. No card, and it does not expire.
No. There is no send path for drafts. Letters, demands, review requests and intake questions all arrive as text on your screen with the attorney-review notice appended. You copy and send them yourself. The only mail that leaves the system goes to you (your sign-up confirmation) or to a client you already invited to their portal (a password-reset link) — never to a prospect or an opposing party on your behalf.
No. CaseFile is software. All AI-generated content is labelled a draft requiring attorney review, and the label is appended to the text so it survives a copy-paste. CaseFile does not provide legal advice and does not create an attorney-client relationship. You remain the licensed professional of record.
Documents you upload are stored against your matter. Brief drafting logs the matter id, case type, jurisdiction, token count, model and time — never the facts you typed. Client-letter drafting keeps the first 200 characters of the draft so the entry stays findable. Your data is not used to train AI models, and there is no signed data processing agreement available today. Read the security overview →
One. There is no second-attorney invite, no seat management and no admin dashboard. Conflict screening only reads the account it is run from, so it cannot screen across a firm today. Multi-attorney firms are handled by conversation, not by a plan button.
Intake questionnaires are generated for whatever practice area and state you type, so there is no fixed list. Pre-built matter workflows ship for eight: Personal Injury, Family Law, Criminal Defense, Estate Planning & Probate, Business Formation, Landlord-Tenant, Immigration and General Civil.
Treat it as a lead, never a citation. Nothing here is connected to a citator, and the tool says so in its own output. Verify every authority in Westlaw, Lexis or Bloomberg before it reaches a filing, and verify every extracted deadline — including the limitations period — against the rules yourself.
This is where the after-hours phone line lives, and it is not part of a CaseFile subscription. It bundles all 6 Orbit modules — voice receptionist, missed-call text-back, review requests, booking, lead-finder, web chat — around one customer record. The phone number has to be provisioned by hand and the voice agent is instructed not to confirm appointments outside your business hours; it captures the caller and the question. It is not self-serve, so it is scoped and quoted in a conversation.
